Recently removed from our hire fleet this 2010 BMW 760Li High-Security is a U.K spec, right-hand drive car armoured to VR7/9 (BRV2009, certified by Beschussamt Munchen), providing protection from high-powered rifles. It has covered 66,000 miles and features the following optional extras:
This vehicle has comprehensive service history from the time that we have owned it.

Manufactured and developed in-house by BMW, the F03 7-Series High-Security was the first vehicle to be certified under VPAM’s 2009 BRV (Bullet Resistant Vehicle) guidelines, providing protection up to 7.62 x 51mm AP ammunition (FN Fal).
The 7-Series High-Security was tested beyond it’s VR7 rating with the non-transparent areas and large parts of the transparent area fulfilling
the requirements of VR9. This is documented on the ballistic certificate for the vehicle.

Runflat tyres with a semi-rigid ring (Michelin PAX system) are fitted as standard, allowing the vehicle to continue for approximately 50 kilometres, at speeds of up to 80 km/h, even after a sudden loss of tyre pressure.
Unlike conventional runflat tyres, these have a semi-rigid ring mounted around the rim base, preventing the tyre from flying off the rim. In the event of a loss of pressure, the weight of the vehicle is borne by the ring, ensuring good handling is maintained

The front windscreen can be used as an emergency exit. The mountings and seals are released using pyrotechnic detonations and the windscreen can then be pushed out, allowing the occupants to leave the vehicle.

The detachable rotating police beacon is operated wirelessly through the on-board security features panel and is easily fitted using the suction base and locking latch. The beacon can be used on it’s own or in tandem with the alternating siren to make other road users aware of the car.

All 4 windows are retracting, lowering to 1/2 height (approximately). Each window has a backup method for raising the window in the event of a motor failure.

Two extinguisher reservoirs are built into the luggage compartment and connected directly to the fire-extinguishing ducts. The fire extinguisher
system will trigger automatically by the temperature sensors in the underbody and engine bay or it can be activated manually.
Should a fire occur in the underbody, on the tyres or under the bonnet, it will be extinguished and the passenger compartment automatically ventilated.

Both rear seats feature electrically operated reclining function, with a raisable arm rest in the middle behind which you will find a fridge. A total of 6 vents with independent temperature fan speeds keeps the rear passengers comfortable, whilst the 9.2″ screens keep them entertained
